  16. 1. HOW TO PLAY COLOR HUNT
  17. =========================
  18. The goal of the game is to gain points by removing game pieces 
  19. from the board. When you place five same color pieces on matching 
  20. color squares (say, five red balls on red squares), they are 
  21. removed from the board. 
  22.  
  23. To make a move, click on the desired piece (it will start flashing), 
  24. then click on a square where you want to move it. The flashing piece 
  25. will move to the selected destination if there is a path of 
  26. contiguous squares between the two locations so that it can "roll"
  27. to the new square. 
  28.  
  29. If as a result of the move five same color pieces are positioned on 
  30. matching squares, they are removed from the board and you are awarded 
  31. game points. Otherwise, two new pieces will randomly appear on the 
  32. board. The special "smiley" piece can be used as a "joker", i.e. 
  33. instead of any color.

  35. The status line along the bottom of the board shows current counts 
  36. for each color. First number represents a total count of particular 
  37. color pieces on the board, the second number shows how many of them 
  38. reside on matching sqares.

  40. In the Beginner level you score 1 point for each game piece removed 
  41. from the field. The Intermediate level awards 2 points, and the 
  42. Expert level gives you 3 points for each piece.

  47. The Color Hunt distribution kit consists of the following files:

  55. The setup program automatically detects what version of Windows
  56. you are running (3.1, 95 or NT) and installs 16 or 32-bit version 
  57. of Color Hunt appropriately.

  60. 3. WHAT IS THE SHAREWARE EVALUATION COPY?

  62. Color Hunt is neither free nor public domain software. It 
  63. copyrighted software, which is distributed as SHAREWARE, i.e. 
  64. using true "try before you buy" method.

  66. This version of Color Hunt is intended for evaluation purposes 
  67. only. It is fully functional program with no time limiting. You 
  68. may use it freely and without any obligations for 30 days. 
  69. Thereafter, if you like the software and wish to continue using 
  70. it, you must pay for it.

  72. The registered version of Color Hunt has NO score limits and
  73. registration reminders. It also allows you to choose Intermediate 
  74. playing level.
